SUMMARY:Pool Opening Celebration & Book Station Dedication
DESCRIPTION:Pool Opening Celebration:At 10am\, the swimming pool will open for the season.  Free hot dogs and soft drinks will  arrive around noon.  Contact Ken Nelson (816-718-3976\,ken@nelsonlawkc.com) for information or to help. \nBook Station Dedication:  Take a book\, leave a book.  That’s the simple way for people to read more at no cost to them or the homes association.  A cabinet built by Jim Schnitz will be placed on the south wall of the pool parking lot.  From 10am to 1pm\, Saturday\, May 27\, people can come to a table set nearby to donate books and to learn about the program\, which is being launched by retired teachers Susan and Bob Hiatt(nkcbob69@yahoo.com; 816-305-4176.)
